I love sunsets!

Windmills After Sunset

I was driving back from Barrie, Ontario after sunset this evening and as I drove over one hill, imagine my surprise at seeing over 40 windmills all busy turning slowing on the far distant horizon.

I stopped the car and made this photo of the scene. I never knew we had such a place! (Please click to see the photo larger)

A lovely photo. I think we have areas over here with windmill farms...though there have been complaints about the marring of the countryside.

What an incredible sky and that aeroplane trail really adds to it.

Aren't those smart! Using windpower to make electricity is smart.

They aren't as ugly as hydro towers, and a much cleaner sorce of energy. With that sunset behind them, you hardly see them for the sun's glow.

I like the way the windmills are silhoutted against the setting sun. We have several windmill farms here in Central NY State.
