I Love You
A Rose That Says,
"I Love You!"
This is the day when so many folks around the world tell their loved ones that they love them. Have you told him today that you love him? Have you told her? Or what about the little ones? They all need to hear those three words, "I love you!" But what a wonderful thing if we did this every day! As you leave each day for your place of work, tell your wife that you love her. As he sets off on his journey to his place of work, give him a hug and whisper those words that he loves to hear, "I love you!" Maybe you could even leave a note with those words written on it in a snack for the children. And your Dad and Mother both need to know, too, that they are loved. Phone them or write them a wee note today and simply say, "Mum, I love you! Just wanted you to know!" or "Dad, feel like a coffee? Let's meet and I'll buy you a one today. Just wanted to let you know that I love you, Dad!" We all need to know that we're loved. Go and tell someone that you love them now. It's so nice to hear those words. The greatest gift ever was the gift of love that we're told about in John 3:16. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life".
O the Deep, Deep Love of Jesus
(Click to hear music)
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature,
shall be able to separate us from the love of God,
which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:39 Author: S. Trevor Francis, 1834-1925 Musician: Thomas John Williams, 1869-1944
O the deep, deep love of Jesus,
vast, unmeasured, boundless, free!
Rolling as a mighty ocean
in its fullness over me!
Underneath me, all around me,
is the current of Thy love
Leading onward, leading homeward
to Thy glorious rest above!
O the deep, deep love of Jesus,
spread His praise from shore to shore!
How he loveth, ever loveth,
changeth never, nevermore!
How he watches o’er His loved ones,
died to call them all His own;
How for them intercedeth,
watcheth o’er them from the throne!
O the deep, deep love of Jesus,
love of every love the best!
’Tis an ocean full of blessing,
’tis a haven giving rest!
O the deep, deep love of Jesus,
’tis a heaven of heavens to me;
And it lifts me up to glory,
for it lifts me up to Thee!

Thanks for your recent visit to my photo blog.
Hello, Pat!
A beautiful place here!
Excellent post! I love roses and the poem is very good.
Thank you.
have a good weekend
Hi Pat, thanks for your visits to my blog. I'm finally catching up on the days I missed. This is a really beautiful rose and I agree we all need love, especially the Lord's love. Thanks for printing the song. I haven't heard that for a long time. Sometimes its just great to read it as a poem and get the full effects of the words.
That's lovely! I try always to do as you suggest!
